New Ford, Lincoln Mercury Products Win High Marks in AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

Make some more room on the trophy shelf.  Ford Motor Company vehicles have just racked up some more awards, scoring four category victories in AutoPacific’s 2007 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA), announced earlier today in Tustin, California.  AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Award (VSA) is an industry benchmark for objectively measuring how satisfied an owner is with their new car or light truck.

Lincoln won two categories with the Navigator winning the Luxury SUV category, beating second-place contender Cadillac Escalade.  The Lincoln MKX is the top rated truck overall and won its Luxury Crossover SUV category, overtaking the new Acura MDX.  The Ford Edge won as top rated Premium Mid-Size Crossover SUV.  The Jaguar X-Type owners rate the X-Type as the top of the Aspirational Luxury Car category.

According to AutoPacific President George Peterson, “The dual wins by Ford Motor Company’s new Crossover SUVs – the Lincoln MKX and Ford Edge – shows Ford was on target when developing these important new vehicles.”
